Does anyone have experience with the ag-4p60 HOT pickup?
I put the standard 4p-60 into a squier and whilst it sounds nice, for me, it lacks a bit of bass, and it isn't punchy... I like punch, I like to be able to do dig in with my right hand! I think I even preferred this stock squire affinity pickup which was also a bit hotter .... I liked the change of tones and punch I could get from it when I dug in.
The 4p-60 is a smooth sounding pickup with a lower output. Should I swap them out for the HOT version or look at a different pickup all together?
