Aguilar DB410 vs Bergantino HS410

I A/B'ed both a while back, along with an NV610. My main recollection of the differences between the two you mentioned are that the DB410 was darker sounding compared to the HS (I turned the tweeters off on both), which was more balanced overall. It's been a while so I really can't give you much more than that. I preferred the NV610, but all three are great cabs. I'd probably pick the DB just because I am more of a pickstyle rock player, but the HS is probably more versatile.

I would have to agree, it is why they are so freakin loud. My favorite cab, I would love to try a db15 under it though!
the HS410 is one of my fav cabs. the DB410 is not.
the HS has a great strong lower mid to low end kick that feels like a cement block. rather than furry, woolly, or burly like an ampeg HLF cab or an eden XLT cab, the HS is much cleaner, yet strong and tight sounding. the aforementioned cabs seem to add this texture to the low mid to low end, but the HS again is clean and smooth, while still feeling powerful and punchy.
the DB on the other hand has a really middy sounding honk that some guys either love or hate. its almost like a midrangey ballpeen hammer like attack, if that makes any sense. in a REALLY dense metal mix, the DB seems like it'd tear that onstage din a new one. but frankly, that just makes it seems rather one trick pony'ish.
both the ag500 and especially the 750 sound bonkers into the HS410. but with that said, i actually did somewhat like the 750 into the DB410. that unnatural honk did give the 750 the right amount of midrange thickness for a great fingerstyle like sound that was hard to replicate on the HS410.
still, for my tastes, the HS wins out on ease of schlep thx to its very shallow depth, strong wrecking ball like low end kick, and more familiar, yet incredibly articulate take on the ol' ceramic mag sound.

honestly, in terms of brightness and openness, the GS does have nicer more silkier highs, but its really splitting hairs.
and to my ears, the DB definitely has more midrange content.
