Aguilar db750: right LED keeps blinking

Hi,

In an act of incredible stupidity during last night's rehearsal, I cranked the input/gain on my db750.
Result was a farting loud sound when I played the first note. Then the amp shut down immediately.
When I tried to power it again, it blew the fuse in the house circuit Upon powering again the right LED kept blinking.

Is there something I can do myself to get it working again?
I live in Europe and finding a decent service center is not easy. I’d hate to ship the amp.

you are right! Thanks a lot.
I just tried to power the amp without a cab and it powered up properly and the LED went "into regular" mode.
So it must be the db212 cab.
What should I look for in the cab? X-Over? woofer? both woofers?

Well, the db750 has been with the European distributor for almost three months.
Upon return it worked fine for a first trial.
Then a new issue occured: after powering up an waiting the appropriate amount of time in order to warm up, it takes a few hard hit to the strings (bass producing some output) in order that the amp produces some sound at all.
After that it is working like a charm for hours ....
Going into standy and back into playing mode is OK. Only when powering of and turning it back on asks for some output of the bass to get it started....
cranking the Gain seems to demand less output from the bass ....

It kind of seems like a kind of "clogged" thing....

I really don't want to send it back for 3 months again......

I bet if you contact Aguilar US customer service, they might have a specific idea of what to do here....
Well, Aguilar has adopted a "new" policy about CS. A few years ago, you could order spares (speakers, cab corners....) directly from the EU distributor.
They say, you (the player/consumer) are no official Aguilar repair man, so you can't possibly be able to change a ripped speaker or broken corner.
You could ship your amp directly to the distributor.
Nowadays, EVERTHING has to go through a dealer.... which makes it more expensive and time consuming without giving any added value.

I ha d some other concerns with this CS action but I'll discuss that openly only after I had some direct feedback from Aguilar.

Well, that's why I sourced myself a suitable diaphragm, changed it and had my box with tweeter up and running again in no time flat.
Alternative: Pay for shipping (lots of kgs translate into lots of €/$), wait forever and pay, pay, pay....
The CS (German, maybe it's better elsewhere) of imported equipment is for me the biggest reason to buy local.
Even for my washing machine I can order spares online and fix it..............
