I have that stock circa 96 TRB6 (first gen?) that I want to upgrade with new pickups and pre-amp.
I've settled on the OBP-3, but not quite sure which setup to get. The bass doesn't pull up/down knobs and has that 3-position knob.
I tried searching for what everyone's done but can't find anything: what setup/wiring did you pick for your OBP-3? Did you replace knobs?
Also, anyone with luck using anything else than G6s on the bass? I really like the P46 quad-coil sound but they wont fit unless you mod the bass. Sounds like the G6 is the only easy replacement. Thoughts?
