Aguilar OBP-3 with a missing green wire!

Wonder if anyone out there has experience of wiring an OBP-3TK?

I'm just planning it out now on a card template. Separated the wires out into groups by potentiometers/switches etc and..... I have a wire missing

The instructions call for a green-with-orange-stripe wire and green-with-red-stripe wire to go to the mid select switch. A plain green wire to go to the jack or bypass switch, and then a green-with-brown-stripe wire to go to the mid pot.

Thing is, I have the first three, not the fourth... what I *do* have is a brown wire with a green stripe- the bunch I'm holding in my fingers in the pics.

I'm guessing this wire is actually the GRN/BRN one indicated on the Aguilar schematic and either their schematic or their product wiring is out of whack and it'd be correct to hook it up to the mid pot?


If anyone has been in a similar situation and had success, I'd appreciate the nod before I get stuck

If it comes out of the preamp in the same place as all the other mid pot wires, that's the correct wire.

Call Aguilar, they are very good.

Yup..it is the brown with green for the mid pot....been there, done that. A little confusing.

A bit of a quality control issue for Aguilar there- the product needs to be wired up with every wire in the correct place, yet the schematic calls for totally the wrong wire.

Anyhow, time to get soldering, cheers all.

I've also noticed that their schematic for wiring a blend pot does not work. I had to find another schematic to use.
