Aguilar Rules.

They just delivered my GS 112 and GS 112NT. I brought my bass to work with my TH500 and am rocking the walls in this bank. My customers don't know what to think but boy am I enjoying it. I have not had a rig this fun in many years. Can't wait till the weekend to see how it plays in a club scene. OK I am done, just thought I would share this. Thanks

OK I got my speakers and gigged with them. Wow my sound is amazing. I wish I could have done this years ago. All I got was compliments on my sound. Soundman said I was a little loud but my sound was great. I turned down to accommodate him and get in the mix a little more and it just sounded so full and round. My guitar player kept looking and smiling all night long. What a good feeling to sound so good and know it. OK that is all....

I hear you 100% on your joy with the Aguilar tone! I've had my TH500 for almost a year now. What an incredible head! I cannot be happier with it's tone, I run it with a pair of GS112's.

Glad to read your posts!

Thanks Arthur, So you have the same set up as me. One of my GS's is the NT just because if I only use one I will use the one with the tweeter but most of the time I will be using both. What bass are you using?

I saw you were also using a pair of GS112's, Killer setup, right?! I barely open up my tweeters, I probably should've saved the money and went with the NT models, or went with one of each, like you have.

I've been playing my Ristola-6, which has Bartolini pickups and an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. Those little 1x12 cabs really handle the low-B remarkably well! What bass are you using?

I've owned my pair of GS112's for quite a few years, the TH500 is the first Aguilar amp I've owned, and it's tone blows my mind. The way the head's eq is voiced is perfect in my book; just a great, useable tone for live playing.

To keep myself from dumping the cash on a DB751 head, I asked my kids for the Tonehammer Pedal last Christmas to use in tandem with my bigger, harder to transport amp setup. The minds at Aguilar have great bass tone figured out as far as I'm concerned.

I've been an OTR Truck Driver for the past 7 years, unfortunately for me, I don't have the time to commit to a full time band. When I have off time, I try to drop in to a few local Jam Nights.

Take care!

Here is my rig with the guitar I built back in about 2006 or something. Bartolini soap bars and a bartolini preamp. It has a 35" scale length and the B is killer. This is the rig I have been looking for. I had the tweeter about 1/3 of the way up and it was plenty.

Thanks for listening and take care.
