I have had these headphones for a while and I've never had the recording set-up to go with them, so they have been barely used over the years. They are fantastic headphones for recording and feature an auto-cutoff when they are taken off to avoid any sound bleeding into microphones. The covering over the wires started to slip down shortly after I got them, but the wires are perfectly fine and there are no functional issues. I fixed it with some black duct tape. The wire has a quick release and it easily replaceable too.
