Is it solid walnut? Also the neck looks like a 3 piece. Do you know the woods? Hard to tell from the photos.

I think it's solid, and I have the question of the neck sent to Chopper Anderson, the builder of Alien Audio. I hope to have an answer soon..

How are these basses balance-wise? I'm always a bit leery of strap buttons past the 12th fret as that can lead to neck dive; how do these balance on a strap?
