Alien vs Predator Requiem, was it really that bad?

Alien, Aliens, and Predator. Three awesome movies, and there are no other films in either franchise... let alone any crossovers.

Simply put that looks ****ing awesome. I hope it's as good as it looks. I've been disappointed since Predator 2. Man I hated that film. Such a let down after the awesomeness of the first one.

Love the first 2 Alien movies and Predator. Alien 3 and 4 were .....ooops and Predator 2 was crap. I actually enjoyed AVP as long as you don't try to stack it up against the big three. AVPR is ok or slightly less then ok. Yes its silly and dumb but if the alternative is The Notebook or some other gag inducing movie like that then I am still on board for AVPR.

it really is bad. i had expectations for the first avp (don't know why) and was tremendously disappointed. i went into avpr with absolutely ZERO expectations, and i was STILL disappointed.

in statistical physics, there's a notion of negative absolute temperature; that's the sort of region where that movie lives. you fully expect there to be nothing beyond the absolute floor of whatever scale you're using, and then something comes along and goes lower.
