Phish played their Halloween set last night and the whole band played white instruments. Mike Gordon had a very white Modulus. I thought it might be stickers, but people who were there swear it was actually all white. Does anyone know for sure?

So we were having this debate on modulus fb group. Def not stickers. Body looks solid
White
Poly and the neck looks white. If u zoom in modulus even branded it w black modulus logos and name. Def think its a 1 of 1 custom

My guess is that it wasn’t too hard to pull off. The fretboard was likely the most difficult to do, but considering that it’s synthetic they likely had some options to work with. Otherwise, Modulus has experience putting paint over carbon fiber (early Flea bass headstocks) and even dying the resin on some of the older TBX basses. Hard to tell from the photos! I’m hoping someone does an article on it because it obviously is very, very unique.
