Thanks for asking.

Pre amp is Vol , Vol, Treble, Bass Boost. The 2nd volume knob is push pull active/passive .

You've made a great choice man!
Tighten the neck bolts, loosen the pickguard screws, oil the fretboard, raise the pick-ups, and definitely lower the action. That bass will sound like a million bucks!
