Alternate Cab for LH500?

Hello all,
Before I get a cab for a Hartke LH500, I thought I'd try to get some suggestions of an alternate 4x10 cab other than the Hydrive. They're great sounding cabs, but are a bit pricey for me. Plus I've been hearing more and more about "paper flutter" issues with the speakers. In fact, the floor model I tried at the music store had major paper flutter issues. What I'd like to get for the amp is a 4x10 preferably with a horn. Thanks in advance.

I tried this head with Harke's VX410 and was very impressed. Perhaps try that.

Check out Avatar's bass cabinets, they have something for about every players tastes and at reasonable prices.

I gig two of their Neo 210 cabinets that I stack as a vertical 410...LOVE em'.

Ask the Low Down Sound guy to build you a 4 x 10.

My LH1000 & my LDS cabs sound real nice together.

The best option would be to take the amp out and plug it in to anything you find. Your ears won't lie to you, and it's always better to test drive before buying.

I had not heard of a paper flutter issue. Could you elaborate ? BTW I have two HyDrive 112's and could not be happier...perhaps I was just lucky
