The title pretty much sums it up. Whether I sleep 4 or 14 hours I always feel somehow tired. That's never occurred to me before.

I eat well and exercise. My sleep schedule is pretty messed up but that's mainly because if I don't set the alarm I'll get up past noon without noticing. Feeling tired kind of makes me low on motivation, but I still go out, exercise like I said previously, socialize and whatnot.

This is strange, anyone else had or has this kind of sleeping-tiredness issue?

It's most likely mono from making out with all those dudes at shows....... Sorry. Still on the tour heckling you for being a fag deal. And no none of us are the least bit homophobic that's why it was so funny. @ 4 Am the last thing any of us expected to hear was our drummer tell our female singer she was such a fag because she had the hots for a nice looking "Bro" at one of our gigs. It ended of being the 13 year old boy joke of the whole trip. But seriously, you should go see your Dr. it could be the gay cancer.

I had that issue for a few years. A few things helped me get over it:

1. Whenever you naturally wake up is the best time for you to get up. It's easy to roll over for another hour, but you're only making it harder to get up. At least that's how it is for me.

2. If you don't workout any then you might want to start. It definitely helps relieve any excess energy you have, and I personally find that I get a better night's rest from it. Just don't workout 3 hours before you're planning on going to bed.

3. Try taking some melatonin. Whenever I need a good nights rest I'll pop one of those about 30 minutes before heading to bed. It tends to knock me out like a brick, but I do have some friends who don't get much help from it.

4. You might just be depressed. When I was going through my spell I was always worn out and I had zero energy to do anything. Working out and just hanging out with people more fixed this issue a lot. Not sure if you're suffering from it or anxiety any.

I was a bit low energy. Bloodwork showed I was hypothyroid. Now I take thyroid supplements and my numbers are good. And I'm exhausted all the time.

Doctors are just people who went to school and make "educated" guesses. Hopefully their guess will be right in your case.

I was feeling tired all the time too. I went for a different thing to see the doctor, luckily one thing led to another and I was diagnosed with hypothyroid.

I feel better.

dude lack of sleep makes you feel dizzy when waking up.. and too much sleep also gives you that "slack" feeling.. try to get enough sleep like 8 hours a day and do a basic stretch upon waking up..

As an ex-sufferer of serious sleeping problems, I was going to suggest this too.
