Anybody watch it tonight? Did you see those MTD's the chick in the house band was playing.

EA cab; I think the head was SWR?
She was a very solid player, the trio was outstanding, and I thought that the version of "Love the One You're With" was in-the-pocket, sounded real fine to me.
Trappings of the show itself aside, there is some serious vocal talent that performed.
Best thing about AI when the games begin is Ricky Minor. Hearing him playing/leading the House band is a thang of Beauty, worth sitting through the rest of the stuff.

There's an MTD similar to that one on the show last night, floating around Detroit. I keep seeing it ending up in Guitar Centers being resold. Problem is, someone did NOT treat it well, didn't even bother keeping it clean. Bridge was gunky, frets caked in sweat, fretboard filthy, tuners loose, and definitely a jacked up truss rod. I once spent about an hour at GC with the manager's personal tools trying to salvage it. Sounded phenomenal, but it was just too wide for me to be comfortable on. It had Yamaha spacings, man. Around 19-20mm apart. Couldn't reach the 12th fret on the low B no matter how high I raised the strap.
