American Jazz Deluxe GAS bit hard

So my journey into bass playing as been a short one so far, but ive found it extremely enjoyable. So enjoyable that I've sold all my guitars except an acoustic and have been playing bass for 2 bands full time, and am leaving for a small tour soon.

Anyways all the guitar selling has led to me ordering this bass:

I have a 2012 black with maple Deluxe 5er and it is the best sounding and playing Fender 5er I have ever played. I have owned 5 or 6 Fender American 5ers over the years and dozens of 4's.

These basses are Sadowsky Metro-like quality IME/IMO.

They are a steal on the used market.... Usually in the $1200-1300 for a recent and mint model.

I've got the 4 string version and LOVE IT! The active stuff is a great addition to the traditional tones, which you still have by switching over to the passive side.

Mine has a killer neck on it and needed very little setup out of the box... or should I say SKB style road case, which comes included in the price! :)

Haha thats what sold me on it, 10 payment plans, it should be here soon, ill update with pics

Welcome to the club! :)

We should start an American Deluxe Club since I don't think there is one on here that I can find so far.

Congrats man! Looking forward to your first impressions when you open the case! I was blown away by the fit and finish!

Nicest Fender I have ever seen out of the box! I wish they made them like this back in the day. You would rarely get away with minor tweaks to a brand new Fender anything back in the CBS days. Always had to take them to a tech for a very thorough setup!
