Ca. mid-late 1930's. Recent neck reset, note cap over heel. Shim length of fingerboard to deepen neck. Thomastik tunable tailpiece. Ready to play.

The neck has never been broken. A couple of years ago I'd listed this bass on TB when the neck was pulling away in need of a reset. Via photos you all alerted me to that. Now it is repaired.
The ribs are intact.

Nice classic big sounding bass.

The fact that this hasn’t sold yet is an uncomfortable indication of the state of the vintage instrument market at present, imho. I’d try to buy if ‘twere closer. Good luck - looks awesome.
