Amp 2 channel

Hello. I tried using both channels on my Crown xls1002 to power 2 cabs. When both channels plugged in, channel 2 it will not work. The amp is set at 2 channels. Speakon wired 1+/1-. One is a 2 pole and the other is 4 pole, but both wired the same. What am I doing wrong?

Is your input selector set to 'parallel' and you are using input 1? (assuming a mono pre amp).

Crown calls it 'input Y' mode, for a mono input.

1. Hold the MENU/SEL button for 1 second until the LCD screen displays the MAIN MENU.
   
   
2. Highlight AMP MODE and press the MENU/SEL button to enter the AMP MODE menu.
   
   
3. Press the NEXT button until INPUT-Y is highlighted and press the MENU/SEL button to select INPUT-Y mode.
   
   
4. Now the LCD screen displays the MAIN MENU. You may continue to the CROSSOVER menu to set up filter options or scroll down to EXIT to return the status screen which will now show the amplifier is in INPUT-Y mode.

Awesome, thank you. I was using the 2 channel setting. I should have thought through. 1 in, 2 out...y input.
