Amp and PC input to one Headphone

The Zoom B1on is dirt cheap and you can plug your bass directly into it as well as your computer or phone/tablet/mp3 player. No need to even turn the amp on, and you can practice anywhere.
As i've also found, you can go from the output to a small speaker and still jam along to your other tracks if you don't want to wear headphones.

at this very moment, i have my p bass plugged into my focusrite scarlett solo, which connects to my pc via usb. I have amplitube 4 configured as my amp sim playing through a digital version of a 8X10 SVT setup, all the while listening to motown isolated bass tracks on youtube. I don't even own a bass amp at this point.

I call it my Butcher Bass..... because I butchered a perfectly good bass to make it.
It started life as a Greg Bennett Corsair short scale. Took to it with a jigsaw, moved the controls and did some bodgy rattle can painting. It actually plays and sounds pretty good. All up it cost me around $130 Aussie pesos.

People these days are so eager to make you buy stuff it's terrifying.
OP you don't need any expensive extra gear you already have all you need.
Go to the $ Store, buy a 1/8" male to 1/4" female adaptor.
Plug the bass cable into the adapter into the MIC (not LINE) input of your PC and you're done.
Use the signal mixer in your PC to adjust volume between the input and your videos.
Done. For practice you don't need a multieffect, amp, mixer, sound interface or anything else.
