Amp + Cabinet recommendation ?

I planning on upgrading from my Ebs drome combo to a bigger bass rig with a higher output. I'm looking for a amp + cabinet which will produce a sound that will fit my needs. In my band I play ambient/ rock/((pop)) dreamy kind of music. A bit like a mix between Joy Division and Arcade Fire with some inspiration from sigur rós. I'd like a vintage-/warmish bass sound . Would you guys recommend anything specific?

George Holm of Sigur Ros uses an Ampeg B-15 through what looks like a vintage Ampeg 1x15 cab. There are probably some weird effects pedals involved too.

Peter Hook used a Hiwatt DR103 through a Vox cab during the early years of Joy Division.

I think Tim Kingsbury of Arcade Fire uses an Ashdown rig though I'm not sure which one.

For vintage and warm, an old Ampeg SVT CL or newer Heritage SVT through an 810E cab is a tried and true choice.
