Amp head/cabinet hook up

Good morning all

Just treated myself to a birthday present and purchased a fender rumble 500 Head and two Peavey Headliner 210s. Doing my research the amp can run one cab at 350 watts at 8 ohms and 500 at 4 ohms on two cabs. I’ve only had experience with my combos and use a Morley ABY peddle to combine my combos to use as my bass rig.

The question I have is how do you tie in the amp into the 210 speaker cabinets with one and/or both at the same time to optimize power and not blow the amp up? The instructions only give me a chart and not a diagram.

Thank you

The Fender Rumble 500 has 2 Speaker Out jacks.
The Peavey Headliner 210 cabinets have parallel 1/4" jacks.

There are 2 ways you could run your speaker cables.
You could run a separate speaker cable from the head to each 8 ohm cabinet.
Or you could run a single speaker cable from the head to the first cabinet and then run another speaker cable from the first cabinet to the second cabinet.

Be sure to use Speaker Cables not Instrument Cables.

Copy that

If your head and cabs both have SpeakOn connections, I would highly recommend getting a pair. They can carry more power, lock into place and, most importantly, cannot be confused for instrument cables on a dark stage.

The Peavey Headliner 210 Cabinets have 1 Speakon jack and 2 1/4" parallel jacks:

So he could use Speakon to 1/4" speaker cables.
