AMP HELLLLLLLLLLP!

Hey guys I am having major problems with my amp and cabs...

I have
Mesa m6 Carbine
G&L L 2000 bass
2 4x10 Cabs
- 1 410 AMpeg PR HLF Cab
- 1 410 Mesa Cab (put into the above enclosure)
all are 600 watt rms 4 ohms

I am getting HORRIBLE farting clipping....ect EVERY TIME

nothing is broken the drivers are new and replaced

now....this is what i am doing

I either set my GL bass to passive and have the m6 in passive
or vise versa.

i do gain at 12 or even 10 to make it hopefully not make this sound.
my master is never more than 10.

What can i doooo?

I can not take pic but here look at this. ask anything else you need. i really cant take this anymore.

Tell us a little more about what the highlighted stuff means.

What exactly do you mean by the Mesa 4X10 put into another cabinet ??

Sounds like you screwed something up with changing drivers or you used wrong drivers for the cab.

no no....listen

I have 2 410s

I have an original 410 ampeg pr hlf

the other was the same but speakers blew.

i had a professional replace them with mesa drivers.

As for the amp. I had an ampeg svt4 pro that did the same exact thing!

i have no idea what im doing wrong all i know is i have everything on my bass now (preamp on GL) down. it helps a litte but there is barely any sound coming out then.

Is this something that has just started or has it been showing these symptoms for a long time?

Was your rig working correctly and then started malfunctioning when you changed something?

It's really hard to see the red text on the black background (in your graphics), but on the front controls, I don't see anything weird (but I'm old and can't see very well).

It's time to start troubleshooting this thing!

Have you tried another bass? Preferably something like a passive jazz.

Have you tried different input cables from guitar to head?

Different speaker cables?

Different head with your cabs? (I noticed you did use the SVT head with the cabs)
Were you using the same cables when you tried the SVT?

Different cab with your head?

Do you have any effects in the signal chain?

Trying these suggestions might help narrow the source of the problem or at least give some of the TB experts more information to go on.

OK...

No effects.
I tried and ampeg svt 4 had same thing.
i tried another bass. The Jazz G Lee bass has no lows but if forinstance i play the low e on the 12th frett the lows come out but still clip.

I never had the problem in the begining. and then shortly after both cabs blew.

But if i replaced them with new speakers why would it be still doing it.?

try your bass and amp on a different cabinet. Go to GC and tell them your interested in a cabinet they have in stock and wanted to try your rig on it.

If it does it there, then try one of their bass guitars. If it still does it, then I say the amp.

However, you take it there and it fixes the problem, then bad cabinet.
