Amp issues

When playing out of my Fender tube amp the sound disappears suddenly and then comes back, and it keeps doing it, also hear a little crackling from the cab/speaker. What can this be?? It's a new amp..

Sounds like a short somewhere. Take the back off and check out the connections. I think a little solder will do the trick.
