Amp Problem, Fuzz

Hello guys, well i have a problem with my amp, would like to know your opinion on this...
my gear is:
Ibanez BTB556MP
Behringer ULTRABASS BX1200
Zoom BFX-708 for effects

so since yesturday my amp had this fuzz like sound while i was playing, and the volume of my bass dropped greatly, now it does go louder than an acoustic guitar... when i play it has this fuzz like sound, only when i play.

I heard that the problem could be that the horn(? if that's the word?) may have come louse because of the vibrations... or something like that...

i pretty new to this problems... please... any help??? what is it? what can be done about it?

thanks

+1 - First thing to check. I was sure I blew a speakerbox when my first active bass battery died.

I did check it, actually at the beginning i blamed it on the active pickup... but i changed the battery yesturdy... so that can't be the problem...

I'm not familiar with that Behringer model, but open the grill (easy unscrew, the metal part on front that covers the speaker) and just look at the speaker cone from the outside and check for rips or anything out of the unusual. If you don't find anything, try unscrewing the speaker (assuming that it unscrews from the front) and check inside the cabinet for burns or wire problems.
