Amp Settings Help...

Hi, My Amp is a Laney HCM120B, all the settings on it are as follows:
Compressor Gain, Bright (button), Bass, Graphics Equalizer ( 100Hz, 200Hz, 400Hz, 800Hz, 1k6Hz, 3K2Hz), Treble and volume.

I am Looking for a deep sound, Like former weezer bassist Mikey Welsh had, I just thought I would ask for some help if somone could read them settings and tell me what to put them on I would be very greatfull, thanks! :bawl:

unfortunately I don't know the weezer sound you are refering too, but the fullness of bass tone comes from the 100 & 200 hz adjustments on your graphic eq, while the bass know will adjust even deeper frequencies below that... for a fatter you should probably back off the compressor and not use the bright switch - you will however lose quite a bit of clarity and definition by using these settings, but best is to play around till you are happy... ps. your amp will also have to work harder if you are pushing the lower end of the frequency spectrum...
