Amp under 500 for Fender A-Elite V?

Hi all,

Been playing a Schecter Diamond Series V bass with an BA-115 since about 2003. I utilize the low B a lot. Love 4 strings but feel more at home with the V - just my preference/play style of jazz/blues/worship.

Have been playing tons and growing as a musician and felt was time to upgrade. Just upgraded to a Fender American Elite V (had scoped ricks and others but this was right for me) and looking for a new amp. My ampeg is starting to go after years of being hauled around.

Have looked at Ashdown AAA-120 and looks good. Primarily, I want to jam/practice at home but be able to haul it to small/mid size venues if needed. Not opposed to cabinets just don’t understand them well and a bit intimidated in setup - any insight there welcome.

Appreciate constructive feedback from anyone who might have a similar situation and experience - in advance, thank you!
