AMPEG 4pro

Currently I have an AMPEG 4pro head and was considering using two
MESA BOOGIE PowerHouse 2x12 cabs
For left and right side amp sections
A&B 4 ohms each.
Anyone use this setup before?

I've bi-amped into two 410's before using this amp. Never tried it with 2x12 cabs but, nothing indicates it wouldn't work.

Yeaaa not looking to Bi Amp, just going full range. Just not sure of which cabs I’ll invest in.

Each amp side will go down to 2 ohms, so you should be ok.

I've seen Mesa M6's run a single 412 cab. The 4pro is more than capable.

The cool thing is Mesa 2x12’s are offered in 8 or 4 ohm. I would go with the 4 ohm to get 625 Watts per side from the 4Pro. Then again is the price.
Also considering the GK 4x12 cab and run that mini bridged at 1200 watts. Sooo some things to consider.

The 4pro is a very flexible amp with lots of options. Cab selection will be important to ensure you are getting the most out of your sound needs.

I've only paired it with two 410's or a 410 and a 115. I've had very good success with this combination, and have had room to spare.

You should get a a 4 pro. And 4 810es. 2 for each side of the stage. Lol
