I have a 64 B15N with an Altec Lansing speaker. My son is using it these days and I recently had the chance to hear him play a 62 Jazz through it at a small venue (60 people, no PA support) at moderate volume. It sounded incredible! Maybe the best live bass sound I've ever heard.
Of course, at higher volumes and larger venues it wouldn't cut it, but still....
