Ampeg B2R

I am trying to find a tone that works out for my bass, but i just cant seem to find anything that sounds decent no matter how much i tamper with knobs.

Can anyone give me an idea of what they use regarding the levels of the knobs on the amp, and even the EQ, since i have an ampeg b2r which has EQ sliders

If anyone can help me out, cause every show my band has, my tone sounds like crap

also i use a Warwick RockBass Corvette Classic 5 String incase you want to know

Yea +1 to jazz man, I also boost the graphic eq like a smiley face, so that it moves in a bowl shape from left to right, high on left, high on right, and a gradual decline/incline in the middle, so that the mids aren't boosted as much as the lows, and highs.....

If you are trying to be heard, I wouldn't recommend this method. It may sound great to you, but from the audience it will be different (in a bad way)
