Ampeg BA-100 controls

No big deal .....BUT....My BA-115 has "Volume/Master" silkscreened on the control panel. All others I have seen (including the owners manual) state "Gain/Master". All other knobs are the same for both.. Kinda wierd don't ya think?

Anybody else have one like this? I am presuming the "Volume on mine and the "Gain" on others perform the same function. When/why did they change it?....Mine is about a year old.

Still can't get the damn speaker grill off either. Oh well it is still a great amp for the dinero!

If yours was made in China or Vietnam, they may have changed the knob labeling plus gone to a diferent system of attaching the grill from the origanal made in USA models.
