Ampeg BA-115 or Peavey TNT 150?

I have the BA-115 that I use for practice only bacause it dosn't seem loud to do a gig with plus it's a little muddy sometimes. On the other hand I did see many TNT-150 out there being gig with in churchs. Try them out first to see which sound better to you. If I needed to pick which one, the Peavey would be my pick.

I had the Ampeg when I started out. Never intended it to be a gigging amp.
Your budget has a lot to do w/ it, but I'm not sure you can get over a drum kit w/ those, and I don't remember if they have a DI or not
I play everyplace w/ my SVT CL and 810, they do have a volume knob, but that's also very expensive.

I need some opinions. I have a chance to trade for one of these amps and need to know which one you guys think is better? I have a practice amp now and I am looking to get something with more power. Just need to fill a small church.
Thanks!! :)

I have owned both and strongly prefer the TNT.

It is louder, has more flexible tone options and is in no danger of going out of business.

:D

Doesn't the Official Bass Player's Code of Conduct (US version) stipulate that every bass player at some point has to own a Peavey TNT? ;)

I'd go Peavey if it has a direct out. GOod luck!

No, the official rules only state that it must be a Peavey bass combo, not any particular model. For instance, I had a TKO65, and was not in any way in violation of the code. +1 for the TNT over the BA.
