Ampeg BA108 v Hartke b200/300

Hi guys,

A litlle advice please. I'm looking for a small practice amp that will stay in my home office/computer room (8ft x 6ft), so I don't need much power, headroom etc. I like to try and play rock, swing, country and jazz. I also like to record a bit using Garageband so I need a line out on the amp. I'm considering the Ampeg BA108, the Hartke b200 and the Hartke b300 - all of them available on line to me in France. I'm concerned that some reviews of the Ampeg talk about a hum without anything being plugged in. That is something I could not live with.

What would you guys recommend?

I have the Ampeg and it does its job without any problem. Has a good sound and 25W of power for small acoustic session.
Anyway i think that any of them will do the job...

Thanks for response. Tell me, does yours hum when it's switched on without an instrument plugged in?

not so much hum, but it has something like a "punch" when it is switched on.
