I haven't had the chance yet to use mine in a "live" situation yet, but I will tell you I like the tone, and it does have a dedicated line out, if you have PA support, with the tilt-back feature it will make an excellent bass monitor. For $200, I'd say go for it.

A friend of mine has one, and when we've done split shows or when he has brought it to jam nights or just over for goofing around, it's more than adequete for small and medium bars/clubs. As long as your guitarists aren't stupid loud - I'll go so far as saying it's adequete for big venues as well as long as you have PA support. It has an XLR out so you're good to go there. Nice little amp for the $$$$. I use a B-100R for many of my shows, and the BA volume is comparable.

I've had one for a while. It lives at one of my bands' practice space, the country band. It does the job, because this drummer doesn't play too loud, but at higher volumes it's pretty hissy. I tried to gig with it in the past. It hung in there pretty well with PA support and a drummer using a Roland kit, so the stage volume was well under control. I don't think I'd try it live with a real drum kit, though, unless it was a mellow kind of band.
