Hi, I am selling my original 1969 Dan Armstrong Ampeg bass with original case and literature.
Update: the price is now $2100. I will reduce it every so often Dutch auction style until it sells. edit: 7.11.18
Paperwork is the original sales brochure, manual, price tag that came with it.
I am the original owner.
This is a short scale neck, the body is the clear Lucite.
The tuners are Schaller bass tuning machines.( edit: a kind soul suggested I had it wrong that the tuners are Grover, maybe so..)
The original tuners were Schaller guitar tuners and they slipped so I put on the better bass tuners...long ago, so almost an original upgrade, lol.
'D500A' is stamped on the side of the neck, maybe that is the model number or the serial number, I don't know...edit 7.22.18 Well, now we know it's the serial number and who stamped it, sanwin17 did!

There is a crack in the formica around the jack, not unusual seen on this bass. Other than that is is in good shape.
I can deliver it between Los Angeles and Portland....cash only.
