I wasn't quoting you and Im not questioning your knowledge on this matter. What I AM saying is that Ampeg, Fender, GK and every other manufacturer I have seen clearly separates solid state from Class D. I have posted proof of this several times. As Ampeg says themselves, in the link I posted from them, Class D "is akin to a solid state amp". The word akin means "of similar character". That means the two are similar, but also different. I also posted a very insightful link that explains the differences between traditional "solid state" A-C and Class D. I was correct in saying I thought the Ampeg BA sounded better than the Rumble because it was solid state, while the Rumble is Class D. Thanks.
