Any thoughts on the reliability of the Ampeg RB210?

I dont know. I'm just here to comment about how odd it is that Ampeg chose "RB" as a model line, that being the most famous model line of their main competitor GK. Or am I missing something in the battle of the "RB" moniker?

EDIT: Dang, I guess Ibanez had the fabulous rb bass guitar series too. At least those were not amps.
new gas??? a multi company RB bass rig from strings to speakers. :D. and then get a gig at Arby's.
Gotta get an old Ross Rockbox rb200 in there too.

Ok... this thread can now resume it's original programming.

I think Ampeg was referencing or reviving the Rocket Bass moniker they had used in a much earlier era.

I am not bashing Ampeg here in any way, (I own numerous Ampeg amps), but there are much better options out there (by Ampeg, and others), that I would prefer myself. Especially at that price.

Regarding reliability, I have not heard anything negative in that area.

Edited to add that I have not played through that particular model.

Like what? I'm also looking at this one:

I had thought about the Fender Rumble but they're a bit muddy and I can't get extended financing from Sweetwater. I can get 36 months on both the Ampeg RB210 and Hartke HD500 (which I know isn't really 500w and doesn't have a speaker out).
