Anyone have an opinion on how an SVPcl might sound run through the power section (effects return) of a mesa walkabout?

I didn't have that problem, but I did have a problem where the amp had no output what's so ever. I took the amp in for service to the Amp Lab in San Jose, California. What he said is the some ampegs have a problem with the solder joint at the mute button. He did not find any problems with the amp so he re-solder that area and that must have been it. The amp worked fine after that. I'd check that area.
Depends on what happens after 20 hz. Since it's only the center, it can still affect a pretty wide range of frequencies, and my guess is it probably does.sorry to revive this old thread, but I'm wondering why this preamp has the bass knob centered at 20Hz? isn't that too low for most cabinets on the market?
