AMPEG SVT-CL rewiring for 220V and other issues

Hello,

I know this is a zombie thread but I have a 240 volt SVT-CLU that needs to be run in the US.
I am looking for instructions on how to wire it to 120v.

Does anyone have that info handy?

This schematic shows the old and new transformer, but it does not show the connection for 120V with the new transformer.

Here is a post that says how to wire the new transformer for 120V: SVT-4 Pro problem

I suggest getting a qualified tech to do the conversion.

It doesn't take much of a mistake to ruin an otherwise perfectly good day...

Pass this on to your tech. The jumpers must be reset, as does the fuses and power cord.

I wanted to try and clear up some unintended confusion. This thread was originally concerned with the SVT CL; however @aig asked specifically about the SVT 4-Pro. My response in post #24 is specific to the SVT 4-Pro, but I do not believe it relates to the SVT CL (so it's really off topic).

Also post #25 specifically relates to the SVT-CL, but not the SVT 4-Pro.

Somebody could easily read through these posts and wire their amp wrong because the 4-Pro and CL are very different amps.

@aig this should illustrate why it's not a good idea to drop into an old thread and ask a question about a totally different amp. If you can't find what you need by using the search function, I suggest starting a new thread.
