Ampeg SVT-cl serial numbers

I just bought a used svt with matching cabinet so of course one of the first things to do is look up the serial numbers, and to my surprise the last four digits are the same. Does that mean that they are a matched pair?

No, it means you had a crazy coincidence.

Yeah, for sure. We don't match cabs to heads in this way. They all play together nicely. That is truly a remarkable coincidence though.
