Ampeg SVT6 voltage conversion?

Hi! I'm new at this forum - a bass player from Sweden with over 35 years experince of playing this beautiful instrument. I play a Fender Jazz -64 in a Acoustic 320/408 or 370/301-rig. Fender Jazz and Acoustic is really a perfect match, I think.

OK, I have a question for you tech gurus, here at TalkBass.com. I'm looking for instruktions for a voltage conversion, 110V to 230V, for a Ampeg SVT6 Pro. I've got the schematics, but only for the domestic version. I've already searched the forum and there are som threads in this subject but nothing specific, about jumper settings etc.

Please, any help is welcome!

Is there anyone who did this conversion? Can you do it yourself or is it a tech job?

I'm not 100%, but I *think* you need to replace the output transformer. Definately a job for an amp tech, but wait for Jerrold. He KNOWS.

I assume you meant power transformer?

Thanks for your help, guys! The problem is solved, thanks to Jerrold T. All you need was a rewiering and a downfuse to 8A. Done in 5 minutes!
