Mostly neither, but different settings for different things, so I voted both. Mostly though, just one knotch up or down on bass, one knotch up on treble, one knotch down on mid (or mid flat). Gain and master set accordingly.I play jazz so it's fretless for me. I found that the midrange is most important with this type of bass. On my PF 500 I run with both hi and lo off. I find that they scoop the mids a little too much for my taste. What about you?
