Ampeg V-4B help!

Just got a V-4B today. Worked great when I tried it. Worked great when I brought it home. Then I flipped the standby switch on for a second, and at least a couple of the power tubes glowed RED (to an obviously bad extent). Flipped the standby off as soon as I noticed. At this point no more sound would come out of the amp and cab. Turned it off and here I am! Any ideas what this could be?

Instead of speculating about what component's may have malfunctioned,
lets just say you need to find a good tube amp repair shop in your area.

If you are in NY (which I'm guessing you are by you're user name) I would recommend Central Jersey Music Store. That's Dennis Kager's shop. He worked at Ampeg years ago, and knows his way around the V4s.

Thanks for the recommendation on the repair guy. I plan on taking it to someone asap--no plans to mess around myself. Know next to nothing about tube amp guts. Thanks!
