Ampeg v4bh buzz problem

When i turn up volume on my v4bh, and especially when i crank the mids, I can hear the amp head make a buzz, and on the occasion of certain notes, the buzzing comes through the speakers and makes the note sound real bad. Kind of buzzy/staticy/almost like the string is buzzing out when its not. I tried tapping around inside the head and on the tubes and nothing seemed abnormal.

Any insight into this issue? Should I bring it in to a tech?

Could be the tube for the tone stack or it's support componets.

Could be a speaker. Could be a tube. Sometimes a speaker/tube will react to certain notes or different volumes.

Quite sure its the head and not the cab. I've got some live recording to do, but if i leave the head on the ground, I dont think it will vibrate and make the buzzy notes.... hopefully that does the trick untill i bring it in to a tech.
