Ampeg V4BH variation - blue labeling?

I've found a NOS Ampeg V4BH for sale. I'm trying to get an idea of what differences there might be other than cosmetics. This one has the black tolex with "Classic" type grill cloth and white piping. The printing on the faceplate is white except for the legends around the knobs and the script V4BH logo are blue. Later pictures I've found on the web have all of the printing in white and the V4BH logo is done in a block type.

Just an earlier version and the only difference is cosmetic.

Yup. Those graphics would be early-mid 90's I believe.

The mid 90s script should say "V-4B" (no "H") and the "V" should be red and "-4B" is blue.

I bought the V-4B.

Couldn't resist it. The dealer gave me a one year warranty in case Ampeg won't warranty it as new.

From the serial number it was made in March 1996, so it is about the same vintage as my SVT-48HE that was made in October 1996.

Nice - which cab are you using and how are you finding it?

I'm using it with the SVT-48HE, this is an awesome standalone cab, it didn't impress me as a top for my SVT18, but on it's own it has a killer tone. I was considering trading off the 48HE for a 410HLF, but right now I think I'll keep it.
