Ampeg Venture V7 with Fender Rumble 210 cab question

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on an Ampeg Venture V7 and wondered if it would be ok to use it with my Fender Rumble 210 V3 cab? The V7 can output up to 1000 watts apparently (700w at 4 ohms). The Fender Rumble 210 can handle 700w @at 8 ohms (350w continuous, 700w program.)

you should be fine, just don’t dime the amp while applying extreme bass boost. But know that the Venture amps do need to crank the master volume up to 2 or 3 o’clock to get their real power going. It allows you to crank the Gain quite a bit, actually. To some it’s a bug, to some it’s a feature. Good luck!

The 700w program is not sufficient to handle a 700w RMS, or continuous, output.​

Fortunately, though, the V7's 700w is at 4 ohms, while the Rumble 210 is 8 ohms. So, those speakers should only see something like 350w continuous from the V7.​

So, you're good to go.​
