Amps: 600w-800w @ 8 Ohms?

I’m really pleased with the volume and tone I get with my Mesa TT-800 pushing my C-8!
400W
Also sounded fantastic with a WD800

Not sure what your budget is, but the Demeter VTBP-M-800D checks all your boxes.
Hifi
Simple EQ
Clean and clear
I've been curious about that one! Someone plugged me into a Demeter pre in at studio several years ago and it left an impression. Possibly the best my bass ever sounded. How much of that was the very talented engineer though?

Wondering how the Bergantino amps compare to Demeter?
As it turns out, I don't need the compressor and gain stages (or the watts) in the new Berg amps.
Switching out my 2u rack amp for a
1 space amp like that Demeter is an attractive idea.

The Bergantino amps are amazing, but they are primarily Digital a/d/a based amps. They are amazingly versatile and capable of any “in-the-box” processing any DAW can do. Except Mr.Bergantino, smartly knows end users are probably more likely to mess things up than make it sound good, so they don’t allow users to make the software adjustments and they are very careful and put an amazing amount of work into getting the settings right before they release new sounds as updates.
The Demeter is just simple 12ax7 preamp with the best possible components chosen at every corner. The 201 preamp has been a studio standard since the ‘80s. The 800d is just a 201 attached to a class d amp.

I had a Forte HP and have a Demeter. I sold the former after a few months.
The tone stage on the Demeter is great.
The Eich is up there with the Demeter, imv.
I also have a T900.
