AMT Electronics slap bass compressor

This is a new compressor on the market and I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience or knowledge of this compressor and if it should be a contender in the world of bass compressor suggestions?

The pedal has been around for awhile. Not sure how long. I remember looking into the pedal and lost interest when the audio demo for the "Slap Compressor" was a distorted bass sound.

I just bought one. Quite cheap. It is more a subtle overdrive than a compressor although it will act as that also. Aparently they are dis-continued in Europe (at least England) because AMT cant be bothered to conform to regulations.
