I have a 300-watt amp head (Warwick Gnome iPro Japanese model) that is currently feeding a Markbass 410 cab (800 watt). Sitting around doing nothing at the moment is a PJB CAB-27 (200 watt) which has a pair of 7” drivers plus a 3” tweeter.
If I wanted to use both cabs, would it be reasonable? Both cabs a 8-ohm with in/out speakOn connectors. The head is 1/4” plug only but I already have a conversion cable currently in use to the 410. What happens if I daisychain the two cabs together? If it’s okay, in which order should they be hooked up?
Physically I think it would be safe since 150 watts would go to each cab. Or would they? I remember a post by agedhorse explaining what happens in a similar situation, but I can’t find it right now.
Alternately, I also have a Subway D-350 with dual speakOn connectors that feeds a GK CX210. Would that be a better fit?
Thanks.
