Oh man, that was so good! You are not helping my gas, I want a Super J so badly.
I have one Jazz bass, the Dingwall would offer something similar yet different. That is how I am going to justify it, lol. I have played a couple of Dingwalls ( though not a Super J) and they have been outstanding.

FYI: The first clip is of an older Super J. They're no longer made like that with the long skinny pickups and control plate (or space for a control plate in the case of the video). The second example in post #8 looks to be the current design, although there are a lot of options available in how they're customized.
I have a custom Super J on order. The order was placed back in November of 2019 and the build time is ~18 months. Waiting is hard![]()
