Bass noob in NorCal
I just impulse bought an ESP LTD B-204 Fretless on eBay new shipped for $350. I'm starting lessons this month; I also have a 'no name' acoustic/elected fretted bass to practice with.
I've love the bass since high school and I blame John Entwistle, Geezer Butler, John Paul Jones and Geddy Lee. (I blame Les Claypool for the fretless though)
