Another New Member!

i've been picking around in a six string for years but bought an acoustic/electric bass a few years back that I started playing recently.

It's full size and I have a hard time with it but I play it anyway. Tried a short scale bass a few weeks back and loved it so I have one on the way.

Looking to learn and make some friends here.

Welcome to TB.

32 would be the new 34 if there were more of them out there.
But 30 is where it really it’s for me, and as it seems, a growing number of others as well.

I have a Squier Jag short scale and a Gretch Junior Jet.
What did you order?
And post a pic when it arrives.

Here's the bass I bought. Gretsch 2224 Junior Jet. I had to do a little setup when I got it because of some rattling strings and I ended up replacing the strings altogether with some Sunbeam round core ones.

I have played this for hours and hours and love everything about it. I just wish I could more easily integrate my pinky in my fretting.
